Make a list of your Scavenger hunt

If you throw a party, do the hunting can be very enjoyable for everyone. It seems for a while that the scavenger hunt fell out of style. But now they see a big resurgence in many special events. The key to a successful hunt is to have a scavenger hunt list. There are too many parties where the given list is not relevant to the party or do not have the right level of difficulty. This will lead to frustration and boredom for your guests.

One of the first things you need to think about is the age of your players. Do you hold a hunt for the kids? It’s good if you need to think of things that will appeal to them and also quite easy to find. On the other hand, adults should have a list of the more difficult. This list must be either of those things that are hard to find, or user must be in the form of a puzzle to make finding items more difficult.

Along with the age of the player, you also need to ensure that the scavenger hunt list you have the right theme. A theme birthday party would not make sense to hunt for Easter, and will only confuse the players. To ensure that you have a great list for this event, try to start planning early.

If you plan on hunting vacation, you need a list of scavenger hunt that is relevant to the holiday. List can include Easter eggs, candy, tinsel, a small basket, and the items more accessible. Christmas list could include ornaments, cookie cutters, and stockings, among others. The same goes for the hunting vacation.

Sign up for special events that are not holidays may prove a bit more difficult. Bachelorette party, bridal shower, baby showers, and birthdays can look vaguely from vacation, and think of things for people to hunt may seem like more of a challenge. But if you really think about it, it’s not hard. There are so many things that you can find that are relevant to this opportunity, and easy enough for players to get off. The secret just to make sure that the list makes sense.

One idea you might want to try is to find a few lists that have been made and take what you like from the list. Collect half a dozen lists for your event celebrating and looking through them. This makes it easy to choose some very nice items that will give players a challenge, but you can also drop an item from the list of players hunt if you know you will not be able to get them. You do not want to be too easy, but you do not want players to get frustrated and give up.

Something else you should consider is how your players will get a "proof." Are you going to need everything on the list to be brought back to you? Or whether you will have a photo hunt?

Scavenger hunt that uses pictures is instead of items that need to be brought back to gain popularity. One reason is that it is increasingly difficult to get some free items, and you do not want to make your guests pay to play your game. Another reason is that it actually gives you more options for your scavenger hunt list. If your players do not need to bring things back, you can send them after some very unusual things. This makes the game more interesting, and can help keep even more relevant to the theme.

But if you will ask for a picture, you need to take into account the camera. Make sure that the people on each team have a digital camera or, even better, a cell phone picture. You may have to build your team around people who have a cell phone picture. This is great too, because it encourages mingling. Keep in mind that this is not something for the kids to do, although it can be very fun for teens and adults.

As you can see, there are many things that you should think about when making your list of scavenger hunt. But instead of seeing them as obstacles, try to see it as a way for your creativity to really come through. By keeping the relevant hunting opportunity and fit for the players, it is sure to be a hit.

Scavenger Hunt - How to Find Fun Ideas for Photo Scavenger Hunt

Photo scavenger hunt can be a great way to get the party-goers actively involved in the fun. If you are planning a party for teens or adults, there are many possibilities to come up with some neat ideas for your photographs you will have a scavenger hunt takes participants.

If you have never participated in the hunt for photos, let me explain how it works. Not like a scavenger hunt where you bring back the physical things that you must find, with hunting pictures, you just need to bring back the picture. Today, most people will have a digital camera, even if only on their phone, so it makes the game easy for everyone to play.

It can change the game quite a bit of traditional scavenger hunt. For example, you do not need to send you out to photograph groups of different objects that they need to find. You can even have their photograph themselves performing different tasks.

For a little retro fun, arrange each group with a single Polaroid camera. Since Polaroid film is a bit expensive, you can make frugality part of the game, and will also help keep the games short and fun. Creating a rule that only one package of Polaroid film can be used by each group. So it will be 10 total photos.

Planning List Video Scavenger hunt

This is where the fun in. You should feel free to mix things up a bit. Make a list of tasks that can be done indoors and then some that can be done outdoors. Be sure to pick some challenging locations as well. And of course, most of the stuff on your list might be a bit silly. Or if you hold a bachelorette party, you can try for a little risque.

If you find yourself confused for ideas, think about the kinds of games you played as a child physically and that would probably be pretty funny (and perhaps embarrassing!) for make as an adult.

Here is a brief list:
  • Charades
  • Sculpture
  • Pillow Fights
  • Light as a Feather
Then you work your party-goers with specific instructions on this game. They go out and play them and bring back photographic evidence! For example, they have proved that the levitation trick party (Light as a feather) actually works. Or tell everyone to go out and play as a certain type of statue statues (comic book character, the American president, etc.). Or have everyone come up with phrases to guess the word and then everyone has to be photographed doing a different word in the sentence.

I think by now you probably have a good idea of what silly things you can come up with your friends are doing on a photo scavenger hunt, but you can always get more ideas from my compilation of a list of the hunt. There should be enough there to really help your own creativity to flow.
